O'BRIEN ELITE WIN THE 2009 NBC WOOD BAT WORLD SERIES !!
Congratulations to Coach Busyhead and the rest of the O'Brien Elite coaches, players and fans. Congratulations also to Coach Wisler and the Oklahoma Baseball organization as they came out from the losers bracket getting by 2 tough teams from Wichita, the Wichita Reds and Wichita Rockies to finish as the 2009 runner up. Thanks to all the coaches, players and fans for getting this new to the area NBC World Series off the ground, especialyl to the Wichita teams for making the rode trip - Thank You !. Thanks to BRETT BROS. BAT CO. (each team recieved 2 wood bats) & PERFECT PRACTICE ACADEMY (home run contest prizes) for their sponsorship and awards donations. And last but not least thanks to everyone involved with the COLLINSVILLE H.S. BASEBALL BOOSTERS. Games where played on a beautiful manicured field and worked between every game.
